Next Internet Millionaire: Blogging, Web 2.0

The Next Millionaire is drawing to a close, episode 10 is out now and after the elimination only three contestants remain. Who will be the next internet millionaire? The series has been a really great success, the concept is fantastic and I have learnt so many valuable lessons from it. Joel Comm can pat himself on the back for another profitable and successful web venture. As the series draws to a close everyone is waiting in anticipation to find out who the winner will be? Let’s analyse then…

Jamie Luchuck: Jamie has made it so far in the competition, she seems like a very down to Earth actress who comes into the competition with no secrets. Jamie has always done reasonably well in challenges and she is definitely someone who Joel should consider to be a JV partner. I cannot say enough good things about Jamie, she has proven herself time and time again, contrary to what Joel said I believe that she can get stressed sometimes but she still works well under pressure. Jamie Luchuck is definitely a viable candidate to win, she has always persevered and played the game well.

MY APPROVAL METER: 8.2/10 (Quite Likely to Win)

Charles Trippy: Charles, the YouTube guy…but it’s not all he can do. Charles Trippy has managed to successfully stay in the competition well beyond a point he thought he could reach. Charles Trippy is a good worker, he can however get easily distracted and working under pressure seems to be a sore point at times. Fortunately Charles makes up for that by being an extra friendly person who is laid back and knows a lot of about the online world, especially the web 2.0 (modern internet) revolution. Charles however does lack some motivation at times, as demonstrated in the popsicle challenge.

MY APPROVAL METER: 7.8/10 (Runner Up)

Thor Schrock: Although Thor has made it to this stage in the competition my gut feeling tells me that he has a hidden agenda and he is playing strategy all the way. To play with strategy is good, but he has done too much of it and this has discredited his reputation as a viable joint venture partner for Joel Comm. From what I have seen Thor seems to be a very manipulative and strategic person who will do very ‘black hat’ things to gain something. This was exemplified when he impersonated a 38 year old woman in order to get link backs for a HackerSafe Immunity challenge.

MY APPROVAL METER: 7.2/10 (Could go either way)
