Squidoo, Got One!

Squidoo!I got one, as I mentioned I would do in the last post, it is a way of improving traffic and popularity for any site in a particular niche. If you do not have a Squidoo Lens I highly recommend getting one, it is highly customizable and there are many great ways to monetize your lens, with little trouble.

Beware Teen Bloggers, Yes, yet another amongst 100’s of Over 18 years of age services so if you are a teen blogger use the name of your parent(s), it is highly advisable. Other than that Squidoo is a great way to post about everything and anything, maybe you want to use it as a portal for your affiliate links, no problem. Maybe you just want to write some quality content and leave it there as a poster, no problem. Do with it what you will, it is a great place for publicity.

I do not have much on my lens at the moment but I can add other widget style “modules” later on, my lens rank is currently #66,071 which is probably at the bottom of the heap, but with more people visiting I suspect it will rise very soon. My gripes: The only small and very petty comment that I have about Squidoo is that it is not a widget-ed page as such, I would really like to see some more functionality (like Facebook style) in the future where I can drag widgets left right and centre, it would allow me to organize the page and make it a lot more functional. Don’t you think?
