AuctionAds and ShoppingAds Merger
I got an email this morning regarding this merger, AuctionAds has now merged with ShoppingAds. The reason for this merge should be pretty clear cut, AuctionAds was not doing very well after a massive drop in performance and payouts reported by many, let’s hope that AuctionAds in combination with ShoppingAds the system will work a bit better.
What’s bad about ShoppingAds: Well, it has this little fine print that says all non US traffic is CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), which is not the best of news. I must agree however that a lot of my country does come from the US so it’s all good. Other than that it seems fine, all the bells and whistles are in ship shape!
The ads available for ShoppingAds come in varying sizes, but there is one thing that I have always found wrong with ShoppingAds and that is the fact that you can barely see the image of the product. I think TTZ Media is actually a bit better than shopping ads, considering it does not have the very silly CPA thing. It also depends on which size is chosen though, on some sizes image clarity is better than on others.
Have you used AuctionAds or ShoppingAds previously? I tried them for a couple of days when I started blogging, and safe it to say that they did not perform very well. I do not discount the fact that these systems will work very well for ecommerce sites as opposed to blogs.

If you’re already a ShoppingAds user, or considering becoming one, you should check out emptyspaceads - turn your website’s empty space into cash (a product I left my full-time job at Microsoft to build), which allows you to put ShoppingAds units in your website’s empty space. After all, when was the last time you made any money from your site’s empty space? Better yet, you don’t have to give up any existing ad units to run emptyspaceads. Keep what works!
We hope to add more ad networks soon! You can also create your own TextAds, ImageAds, and even HTMLAds that can promote your content, your products, or your services. I invite you to try it out and send your honestly brutal feedback. Thanks!

David, Small Fish Big Money does not condone the advertising or marketing of a particular product or service on it’s blog posts. But since this is directly in relation to the post, it is fine, thanks for your comments.
Kind Regards,
