News Notion is a blog managed by Casey, she is a 15 year old teen blogger, I have featured her site here before when I was doing some link love posts etc… Today it is time for a full scale evaluation of what this blogger from the East Coast has to offer.

Site Design and Functionality
The news notion has a very simple and easy to navigate layout, the site has a two column layout which then splits into three columns further down which is good for functionality. It is not difficult to navigate around News Notion because the site is straightforward with important links up the top and navigational links on the right hand side.

Although the theme that is being used over at News Notion does not validate as proper XHTML with 110 errors found the CSS does, which is a good thing. Popular web analytic services show that the site has 4,283 inbound links, 238 pages indexed in Google and an Alexa rank of 148,888. This site has a very good Technorati authority which sits at 84.

Long Term Content Analysis
A very common feature at News Notion is the weekly link love post which has been ongoing for 26 weeks to date, this is probably on of the most fantastic parts about the site. Why do I say this? Well, simply because frequent link love is fantastic because it allows the community to know that you are still alive and you have not decided to stop blogging.

The content Casey at News Notion provides is focused and to the point, there are various sections including Paid to Blog, Paid To Complete Offers, Paid To Play, Paid to Search, Paid To Read etc… These sections provide accurate data about how you as a blogger can make money online using those various systems which are reporter on in an easy to understand manner.

Post Quality and Frequency
Casey posts very frequently and the quality of her posts never cease to disappointment, a really funny post I found is about the 18 Blogger One Liner Disappointments of 2007 which was a really great read…with a lot of truth. One of the liners were “As long as I put out good content, the traffic will come to ME.” and there are so many more one liners like this which are very true. Another great post was When are you most active?

Final Comments…
What can I say, a great blog overall, one attribute about Casey which I think every blogger should seriously take into consideration is the fact that her posts are so simple yet she gets to the point and she builds that buzz. I give her a Small Fish Commendation for that because it is just a remarkable trait for anyone to have. Another great thing about Casey’s blog is the fact that her RSS readership are highly responsive…like monkeys high on Red Bull (in a good way!). Anyway overall a fantastic blog and I hope to see it grow and flourish in 2008!
