Improve Your Blog Post Structure Today

Reading A Blog Post
When you read post, it is most likely as a result of an interest in the subject you are reading, but it can be because you are “blog surfing” or maybe you have been researching a topic on the web. But, one thing will always decide whether you are going to continue reading the article or click out of it.

Why Is Structure Important?
Structure is important because it gives your reader the ability to do the following:

  1. Read through the article quickly
  2. Find quality information quickly
  3. Decide to continue reading or not

It is fantastic that the web provides an open portal for anyone to find lots of information about so many different topics. But it is a shame that so many sites, portals, e-books, articles and blogs do not make use of the formatting available to them. Instead they decide to mass bundle information, without making use of the basics listed below.

  1. Bold, Italic, Underline
  2. Heading 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
  3. Paragraph, Line Breaks
  4. Font size and color

Just by making basic changes to the way you structure your blog posts (like those mentioned above) you will see that

  • Response Rates will be higher (Comment, Submitting, Blogging About etc…)
  • More people will subscribe to your content because it is delivered in an easy to read way
  • Your site will probably become more profitable in the long term (Great!)
  • More people will want to celebrate your blog and build buzz, hence more back-links
  • People love structure, and that’s great, because good structure is like a walk-through tutorial

So…remember, the next time you post something, make sure you give your readers, great content with great structure. You will definitely be rewarded for great structure, in the ways I mentioned above and several others.
