How To Create A Successful Pay Per Lead Campaign

man running I have heard that we are in pay per lead generation, and I would definitely have to agree with this statement…why? Simple, because it is true. Many of us have moved on from pay per click and we are now pursuing pay per lead campaigns. But one of the questions most people ask is:

How Do I Run A Successful Pay Per Lead Campaign?

The answer to this is not difficult, it is actually very easy. But most people forget the most basic skills of Internet marketing and they just throw up a link on their site and hope someone does something. You cannot have that kind of thought process if you are going to make some decent cash. You have to tell the readers about it, via a blog post or an email.

Why Do I Have To Write About It Myself?

You have to do this because it is the most basic principle of Internet marketing. Imagine this…If you selling a cake, which you have never tasted before…you can’t tell your customers how the cake tastes like, so it is useless. You have to recommend the product to your audience with your thoughts, opinions and feelings, this is indeed the most powerful way to succeed in getting leads or sales.

Making The Recommendation As Genuine As Possible

Remember the cake? The vendor had never tasted it before…and I bet that sales were as low as (Not a true story, but a true fact). The next day, imagine if the owner of the cake shop was the shop assistant (she has tasted all the cakes), and a customer asks about one and tada, a sale is made! The power of "word of mouth" is the most powerful type of marketing in existence, and you must use it well. You have to make the recommendation as genuine as possible, otherwise the customer can’t believe you or put their trust in you (and it definitely comes across when you don’t know your product well).

That’s pretty much it, make good, simple recommendations to your readers. Ensure your recommendations are not long winded or fake, it is easy to identify if a reader is really enthusiastic about a product or service or if they are bluffing. Make it easy for them to sign up and tell them why they should be signing up (e.g. What value will it have for them?).
