How To Find And Maintain The Right Balance In Life

Finding The Right Balance

Finding The Right Balance
Life is full of adventures, experiences, journeys and so much more. One thing we must also recognize is the fact that life can get us down sometimes. We must accept that sometimes we will get tired, we will get stressed and anger and frustration may get the better of us. That being said, I must point out that there is a way of preventing these from occurring excessively or allowing them to control your life.

Organizing Life and Creating A Work Plan
One of the things that people usually tell you to do when you are trying to find a balance in life is “get organized”. Many people use the word day in day out, but you must ask yourself, are they actually organized? The answer to this is probably no, that is why they leave it open ended and don’t really give more information regarding the topic. The key to getting organized in life is to creating a daily work plan (and no…not a routine, routine has proven to be bad for most people).

The Daily Work Plan
Creating your daily work plan is not difficult at all, it can actually be done very easily. A very important fact to remember when you are creating your plan is that you should allow yourself enough time for each activity or task so it is not rushed and you can successfully complete it in that allocated time slot. If you allow time for procrastination, you will only be cheating yourself of valuable time and possibly money!

Keeping To Your Work Plan
This is the point that I find a lot of people struggling with. They cannot keep to a work plan or regimen. This is most likely as a result of poor organizational skills, but more importantly their inefficient time management. Listen, we are all going to die one day, this is a fact. Then why would you procrastinate? Procrastinating is a curse for some people, but you should break this curse and take control of your very precious and very valuable time.

Finish Tasks Quickly and Early
You must, I stress, must, finish tasks or planned work at the earliest possible time. If you can do it today, if you have the free time, then do it! Why wait till tomorrow? This will only affect you negatively in the long run, by making your productivity levels drop to below 60%. Your productivity levels should always be at 80% to 95% or more, you know you are at this level when you can get several tasks done in a day and you still have time to watch your favourite TV show or read 50 pages of a book before you go to bed.

Now, Enjoy Life Once In A While
Life is meant to be enjoyed! Don’t make extra work for you if you do not need to. If you need to do a lot of work, but you don’t have the time resources available, contact other people and see if they can help you. Time is definitely of the essence and if you can’t write a blog post for the next few days, contact some guest blogger’s, I am sure they would love to help you out. If you are having a difficult time at work, as colleagues for help. You need to realize when work load is too big and you can’t do everything yourself, when you realize this you can then go and ask for help.

Implement These Simple Techniques
I highly urge you to go and implement these very simple techniques I have mentioned in the post. These are some highly valuable tips which will prove to be invaluable to you throughout your life’s endeavours. Remember, you can’t do all the work yourself, ask people to help. You won’t be able to manage your time if you give yourself an hour for something that could be completed in ten minutes. Don’t kid yourself, manage your time accordingly and you will succeed. I wish you all the best of luck and I know that you can organize your life well and manage your time effectively.

I once read that the definition of truth is: the reciprocal relationship of things to each and the whole as fixed by nature.

What this shows -if meditated upon- is that we must always strive to maintain balance in all areas in order to to be found living in harmony or better put ‘living in truth’
