This tactic is especially important if you have been in a project or activity together recently, this may stretch from a conference to a site review exchange. It is quintessential to take the next step and ensure that you do not forget about the person, by connecting with them you are fostering the friendship further.

It boosts your credibility rating and helps build a community because it is not a generic theme that people visit once and forget about. It is something they will remember and that is the key to being successful online - making people come back for more.

Giving Out Link Love Regularly: Giving out link love regularly is definitely bound to build the community spirit at your blog. When giving out link love, I urge you to remember one thing - give link love to the sites that are growing up in your niche. By this I mean, don’t link to the big names (they have enough link as it is!), instead target smaller, more up and coming bloggers. You will be rewarded for this by possible reciprocal link-backs and mentions on their blogs. Not to mention they are more likely to check our your site from time to time.
