Essentials Of Developing A Great Image Blogging

Small Fish Branding Essentials of Good Rapport Development: Building a good rapport with colleagues or working partners is an essential skill of life, on the net it is more crucial than ever before. You can’t exactly communicate with people online as you would if you were standing in front of them, so you have to do things which create the image that you want. There are many different techniques that you can implement and start using right now to boost your image and credibility online.

Responding To Emails: Responding to emails is vital if you want to build make a good first impression on the net. By taking the time out to look at and read these emails, you are communicating to your audience, in the mind of the e-mailer you are now seen as more genuine and authentic for having responded to the email and providing helpful suggestions if any were asked of you. You should also be thanking the person for taking the time out to email you and open the lines of communication for any future enquiries.

Comment Now! Responding To Comments: This is perhaps one of the most important point of them all. By responding to your responding you are building a sense of community and loyalty within your readership. A blogger who does not respond at all to comments left on a post is in my mind a bad blogger. Responding to comments gives you another opportunity for you to communicate with readers or passers by on yet another level, why give up such an opportunity? I know I don’t.

Releasing Valuable Free Content: Free content is available in abundance on the net…so you are probably thinking - why more? The thing is, a huge percentage of the information available on the net is junk. You can release exclusive free content for your subscribers and anyone who visits your blog. But what readers appreciate is the fact that you have taken the time out to really work on the content and present it in a format that is visually pleasing (PDF or similar). Having something that they have taken away from you or your site adds yet another layer of trust, loyalty and relationship with readers.

Social Media Starfish By ScobleConnecting At Social Media Sites: Connecting with people at social media sites is a great way to reaffirm your connections or relationship with a particular person. This tactic is especially important if you have been in a project or activity together recently, this may stretch from a conference to a site review exchange. It is quintessential to take the next step and ensure that you do not forget about the person, by connecting with them you are fostering the friendship further.

A Community Participation Project: These are always good for building and developing a bigger and wider blog community. This could be something similar to Court’s Internet Marketers Project a while back or Darren Rowse’s video project. These sorts of events help to gain long term visitors that you can count on to bulk up those page views in the time of need.

Kiva, Save Lives with Loans! Being Affiliated To Charities: As you can see, I am associating this blog to Kiva, a special organisation that connects lenders (people from affluent or better lifestyles) with people who need loans (the underprivileged people from developing countries). By doing this, it helps to show that firstly, I care about others and secondly, that I am not money hungry or in it for the money.

Having A Custom Theme: This one can definitely help in boosting your image on the net, especially if you have a really good looking theme that stands out from the crowd and people can remember it. It boosts your credibility rating and helps build a community because it is not a generic theme that people visit once and forget about. It is something they will remember and that is the key to being successful online - making people come back for more.

superblogginglinklove Giving Out Link Love Regularly: Giving out link love regularly is definitely bound to build the community spirit at your blog. When giving out link love, I urge you to remember one thing - give link love to the sites that are growing up in your niche. By this I mean, don’t link to the big names (they have enough link as it is!), instead target smaller, more up and coming bloggers. You will be rewarded for this by possible reciprocal link-backs and mentions on their blogs. Not to mention they are more likely to check our your site from time to time.

Replying to emails could be so time consuming sometimes  I’m not sure if an email client could speed the process a bit.

Always here to help Mirja and VSM. I can understand that some people get more emails than others, and there are no two ways around it - some people get a VA (Virtual Assistant) or simply an assistant to help them out. But I do not know if this is the wisest decision to make. Thanks for your comments.
