SezWho Implementation At SmallFishBigMoney

Are Your Comments Of A High Quality?

SezWho: As you may have noticed in the ‘Comments’ area, I have implemented the SezWho plugin. I am currently using the SezWho - BlogCatalog version of the plugin, which means it displays an avatar to your BlogCatalog profile. I think SezWho has a great concept, because it allows visitors and other people to vote whether or not a comment is useful. The comments’ validity is then scaled up or down as a result of the positive or negative vote, it is also based on prior comments (if any exist) for that particular user.

The Aim For SmallFishBigMoney Readers: As you begin to get acquainted with the plugin (system), I believe that it will be a great tool for you to be the judge and decide if a comment is useful or not. This is especially important in the case of ‘one liners’ and ‘link seeker’ comment types which are of absolutely no value whatsoever. I will also be using the SezWho functionality as a way to moderate comments, by ensuring those that are of no value or add little to the post are voted ‘not helpful’. I highly recommend that you help by doing the same to aid prospective visitors reading the post wade through the good and bad comments.

A Greater Community Feel To Blog Posts: The SezWho plugin already adds a nice feel to the entirety of a blog post, I am sure that it will continue to empower visitors and readers to be more proactive by voting comments positively or negatively. The fact that users are able to do this adds to a greater community feel to the site and commenting in general.

Improve Comment Moderation And Quality Overall: I trust that by installing the SezWho plugin, you will enjoy the functionality of the service. It will also enable a greater level of comment quality control.  Before you post a comment, take the time to really think about the topic at hand and provide a comment that is worthwhile to all who are reading. If sufficient comment community participation is present, I will consider putting up the SezWho Red Carpet, which is a widget that allows me to display the commenters with the highest ’star profile’.

Thinking About Getting SezWho? I highly recommend SezWho as a service to all who want a greater community feel and atmosphere to their blogs. It is a free service, that comes with BlogCatalog integration, for those who would enjoy this feature. It has seamless integration with any well designed WordPress themes available at the moment. You can find out more by going to SezWho.

Sezwho is such a ridiculously good idea, unlike other similar schemes which can take over your site a bit.

    Great work Fabien!
