Today Javier of MrJavo.Com reveals his secrets to as how he managed to make his site’s popularity soar to such highs in a matter of months. So Javier, You Started MrJavo.Com In September 2007, Why Did You Decide To Create A Blog And Start Blogging?

Hello Fabien, first at all thank you for give me this chance. Really, I started MrJavo.Com on January 2008, since September 2007 to December of that year, I’d blog with a blogspot. But with the pass of the time, I reach the money to switch to something better, and that is how MrJavo.Com was born.

Since 2 years ago, I felt the need to blog, but I didn’t before until September 07 because I had not found a niche. Internet Marketing and Blogging are popular niches, but over the Internet, I could not find a blog which gave me exactly what I needed. At this time, I decided to create a blog, to help the people to find the things which are hard to find, providing fresh and honest information.

MrJavo.Com has been around for less than a year, yet it has experienced rapid growth and made a name for itself as an authority site in the make money online niche, what do you attribute this success to?

Well I think my consistence and dedication were the key to give me this success. The most of the time, I write a post daily, and giving the people new content constantly, make them come back to my blog to read the latest updates. Also, I think the social networks helped me so much, expanding my brand with many people.

How important do you think creating quality content is and what techniques can you give our readers to help overcome writer’s block, which sometimes occurs as a blogger?

This is a great question. I think the quality is much important than quantity. Many people think if they write 3 post daily, their blog will have several visitors, but that’s not true. Quality is the key to get the success, this is an attribute which is not in every blog, and if you write with conviction and passion, the people will visit your blog daily by themselves.

Know, to write quality content, it depend of the blogger. However, I recommend you to make mind maps before to write, to give you a general idea about how you will structure your post. Also, you can combine this with writing the keywords of the post. This way, you can set a link between your thoughts and what you want, helping you to write better.

Your site is monetized using several different systems, is MrJavo.Com turning a profit since its commencement last year? If so, which monetization systems currently turn the biggest profit for you?

Certainly, I have used many networks, testing them and choosing the bests. When I created MrJavo.Com, I spent about $120 buying the domain and a plan for a year. In 4 months, I have earned the money to pay that stuff for the next 4 years, that answered your question . About the monetization systems, I recommend to use PepperJam because it give you many opportunities to make money with your website. Recently, I have being using this new service called SocialSpark, and I have to say it has the potential to improve your earnings monthly, test it!.

As bloggers, we are all interested in attaining a return on investment and maximizing profitability – but this can only occur with visitors on the site. What are the methods which have been the most successful for you with regard to attaining traffic to MrJavo.Com?

Using social networks are one of best ways to attract visitors to your blog, broadcasting your content with many users. Also by leaving comments in other blogs related to your niche, can give you waves of traffic daily, which also can give you permanent visitors.

Making blog contests is a great way to get traffic, because the people loves the fact to win something by doing nothing. So they write about the contest and spread your contest with they readers, which give you new visitors, exploding your traffic. I think using advertising is another great way, but it doesn’t work every time. Make sure to advertise in places with many visitors.

I understand you are a member of the Digital Folders Network; this is a growing network of blogs in various niches. Has it played a major role in expanding your reach in the blogosphere hence attracting more people to come to your site?

Well honestly, this network has been a little neutral in this respect. Obviously it has given me more visitors, but the amount was not significant. I sold a banner through it, so I suppose there are people checking that network constantly. Digital Folders is a good network and it’s growing as you say, so I will stay there to see what happen.

Do you believe social media plays an important role in a blogs’ success, if so, which social media sites are able to convert the most in terms of attaining visitors and long term subscribers to a site?

Of course Social Media Networks plays an important role in the blogs’ success. The more people you meet, the more success you will have. There are many networks you can use, but I recommend to use StumbleUpon and Mixx. I have attracted many users of these networks, following me constantly through the web, so I suppose the social media networks have are important in this business. There are another big communities like Digg, but all them are overpopulated and it’s hard to get traffic from them being a newbie.

Where do you see MrJavo.Com in a few years time? Do you have any plans for the further development of the site? If so, what kind?

If MrJavo.Com keep growing as it has being doing, I think my blog could be a great source of information in the future, even more than know. Sometimes I received e-mails from new bloggers telling me that I inspire them, so in the future I think this number of e-mails will increase, and will be a honor to be an inspiration to other bloggers around the world. For now, I have not plans to develop my site, but surely I will have in a couple of months, stay in tune!.
